The 'Fashion 4 Good' pop-up sale will open its doors for a special two-day sale of pre-loved designer clothing donated by top international and local designers, as well as fabulous women about town. The sale will include a mix of high-end and mid-range designer duds – all at affordable price points! All proceeds from the sale of pre-loved clothing goes directly to Hands On Hong Kong – a charity whose aim is to meet pressing social needs in Hong Kong through volunteer services.
Your Task:
Plan, organise, deliver and reflect upon the 'Fashion 4 Good' event. Utilise your individual strengths and make the most of expertise developed within your career-related BTEC subjects. Evidence your participation throughout and refer to this in your reflection presentation.

How do companies appeal to customers to purchase their products?
- Consider the strategies that you will use; psychological pricing, visual merchandising, advertising etc
What constitutes being organized?
- Group project collaboration, working with multiple teams (internal / external), students / professionals.
What does sequencing have to do with being organized?
- Timelines, use of calendars, working documents, organisational planning and the importance of prioritising.
How do decisions made in the present affect future opportunities?
- Research career-related HE opportunities, what additional skills / qualities are preferred for acceptance onto courses. How can you develop these skills within this project?
Is procrastination a bad word?
Discuss the impact of individual vs group, fight vs flight and the importance of teamwork.
What organizational skills are most highly valued in the workplace?
- Transferable skills already developed that will benefit this project vs skills required (needs analysis) that need to be developed in this project. The intention here is to utilise strengths and improve previously identified areas of development.
How does evaluation help us determine right from wrong?
- Be constructively critical (of yourself and others). Not only identifying right & wrong but how the evaluation process informs your knowledge of this.
